BenePhilly is a FREE service for Philadelphia residents that offers one-on-one support to enroll in benefits like SNAP, LIHEAP, Medicaid, and more. Our trained specialists will help you check your eligibility for over 25 different public benefits, complete applications, and follow up on the statuses of those applications.

BenePhilly at Clarifi offers free, one-on-one help to Philadelphia residents applying for public benefit programs.

Thousands of Philadelphians qualify for public benefits like SNAP, LIHEAP, Medicaid, and other state programs, and Clarifi offers free, one-on-one help to connect people with these programs. These programs can help you afford expenses, such as:

  • Health insurance (Programs: Medicaid, CHIP)
  • Food (Programs: SNAP/Food Stamps, Senior Food Box Program and Summer SunBucks)
  • Property taxes (Programs: Property Tax/Rent Rebate, Homestead Tax Exemption)
  • Heat and other utilities (Programs: LIHEAP Energy Assistance, PECO CAP, PGW CRP)

Clarifi’s BenePhilly certified counselors can help you check your eligibility, complete public benefit applications, and follow up on the statuses of those applications.

How to Make Your Appointment:

To make your appointment, call the BenePhilly Helpline at 1 (800) 994-5537. The BenePhilly Helpline is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Bring the following documents to your appointment:

  • Government-issued ID
  • Income from the last 30 days
  • Utility Bills
  • Rent or Mortgage Bills

SNAP Rules: Take Action to Keep your SNAP Benefits!

You must comply with new federal work requirements to keep your SNAP benefits.

Remember: If you’ve recently gotten mail from your County, turn it in ASAP. They are trying to confirm your work hours or exempt status.
