How You Can Help
Volunteer
Clarifi’s work is about people helping other people. While our counselors can do a whole lot, our clients could always use more support. That’s why we create our Boot Camp program. This six-month program brings together a cohort of 20-30 clients who are working towards similar goals, like buying a first home. As a cohort they go through three workshops together, receive counseling, and are matched with a volunteer coach. Coaches don’t dispense financial advice, but rather are there to be a cheerleader and an accountability partner as our clients walk their financial journey.
*Our next volunteer training will be in September of 2022. Please contact volunteer@clarifi.org with any questions.
Why You Should Be a Coach
Being a Clarifi Coach can be a big deal. It’s a six-month long engagement – a few hours of training on the front end, followed by at least one hour per month, but it’s also an incredibly meaningful experience. Here’s why you should consider it:
- You’ll get the chance to develop a real relationship with a Clarifi client, helping them achieve their financial goals
- You’ll get to network with other coaches from diverse backgrounds – from bankers to business owners
- You’ll make real change happen in our community. Boot Camp participants get some of our best outcomes including paying off large debts, buying a first home, and starting a business.
